As for the slit camera which is used at the racecourse, the precision is high to be made in the professional manufacturer.

On the other hand, the slit camera to introduce by this home page is the camera which remodeled a general camera.

It introduces about the slit camera which I manufactured until now.

The first slit camera	The slit camera and controller

This is the first slit camera which I made. The camera which was made the base of the manufacturing is a half-size camera. The lens puts a mount and it is possible to exchange. The box of the side of the camera is the equipment to control a camera.

The No.2 slit camera

It is the 2nd slit camera which I made. The point which is different from the 1st set is the thing the photography about which is possible even if the train comes from any either side direction. Therefore, it installed a frame in the camera and a camera was made to be able to be installed in the tripod reverse, too. However, as for this camera, the clenching of a gear didn't go successfully and wasn't used once after all.

The No.3 slit camera by a single-lens refrex camera

It is the first slit camera which remodeled a single-lens reflex camera. This camera can be installed in the tripod reverse. The one which is on the left side of the camera is the box which stores a rolled film. A film is wrapped around the about 4 cm diameter cylinder axis. It used a single-lens reflex because it was easy to set a camera for the direct subjectto be able to be seen through the lens. Also, it puts a magnet to the turn axis for film counter - and it is detecting number of rotations by lead-switch. Because the striped pattern comes out in the image, it isn't using this No.3 slit camera at present.

The No.4 slit camera	The No.4 slit camera to have diverted into the equipment of film scanner

This new slit camera didn't roll up a film to the axis and took a moving method at the interval of two squeegees which turn a film. At low speed, it was not in the problem when charging and turning an actual film but it found that it had slipped between the film and the squeegee when becoming high-speed. Therefore, it gave up to use this camera as the slit camera and it decided to divert the part of the drive equipment as the electric film movement equipment of film scanner. There is a film scanner behind this equipment. The film which was read through the squeegee is appearing structure from the center of this equipment. The lever in the right is the one of the purpose to put a film in the squeegee and to remove it.

The No.5 slit camera front	The No.5 slit camera back

This is the newest slit camera which I made until now. The characteristic of this camera is to have used worm-gear for the gearing. It installed an aluminum frame for the photograph to be able to be taken in the tripod reverse like the previous slit camera. The motor is using large-sized mabuchi's RS-540SH for the radio control. It is put to the side of the camera in the box to store the film which was rolled up like the No. 3 slit camera.
